TOTO: Could you please tell us about your business?
Mr.Alain: I arrived in Thailand 30 years ago. I’ve worked for 15 years in Bangkok. And 17 years in Phuket. Always in hospitality, obviously managing property. We opened this hotel, Avista Grande Phuket Karon. Started on 15th November 2017, where we have 159 keys with 4 different categories. Within 2 months in December, it became very very full and since has been full almost daily basis.

TOTO: Could you please tell us about the concept design of the project?
Mr.Alain: With an interior design concept, we prepared the Porto-Sino concept for the property. So basically, you go back to what you’ve done 200 years ago, where the Chinese and the Portuguese were mining, and this is the concept. So it reflects the interior concept to the bedroom cross entirely, the F&B operation, the lobby, the building itself to reflect the Porto-Sino feels.
TOTO: Do you take the part in making decisions for product choosing in your project?
Mr.Alain: It was the decision before me during the construction, and I believed that TOTO was one of the best brands in the world, which started almost 103 years ago.
TOTO: Why did you choose TOTO for your project?
Mr.Alain: For me, your ware is a good quality. Since 3 years, no problem at all. Cleanliness, maintenance. It’s very good. So, I think it is a very good product. I’m happy with it.
TOTO: Before we leave, what would you like to say to audiences?
Mr.Alain: Right now it’s a complicated phase because of the virus. Obviously, I would like the guests to come back. Obviously, I would like Thai people to come back to us. And obviously, we would like to have an international flight to come back to our hotel. It’s necessary to the economy in Thailand.
