Four TOTO Products Receive Red Dot Design Award 2022, including NEOREST ® LS and NEOREST ® RS

TOTO LTD. (Headquarters: Kita-Kyushu-shi, Fukuoka Prefecture; President: Noriaki Kiyota) has received design awards for four of its products, including the NEOREST^*1 LS and the NEOREST RS, Smart toilets, as part of the prestigious international Red Dot Design Award 2022^*2. The NEOREST LS was also awarded the iF Design Award^*3 2022, making it a double winner.

The Red Dot Design Award is a prestigious international award that has continued since 1955. Organized by the Design Center North Rhine- Westphalia in Essen, Germany, the awards are granted to products after a rigorous review process conducted by design professionals, taking into account various criteria including innovativeness, functionality and quality. Among the three categories of Product Design, Brands & Communication and Design Concept, TOTO received awards for four products in the Product Design category.

This marks the tenth consecutive year that TOTO has received the Award. TOTO will continue to pursue the fusion of design and technology to deliver a better life to customers.

NEOREST ® LS

The NEOREST LS projects an elegant, graceful appearance with bright accents from different materials added to the smooth, accentuated wave lines. We sought to bring harmony to the space, utilizing the quality of the materials. The decorative parts come in three colors and reflect a variety of tastes, offering an elegant and luxurious bathroom space for our customers.

NEOREST ® RS

The NEOREST RS features a design that is intuitively easy to clean due to the round, corner-free shape and orderly appearance with aligned lines of separation. The curvy, comfortable, and gentle seat lid and hygienic, smooth, and seamless shape offer a more comfortable bathroom space.

Stick Remote Control

The Stick Remote Control features a design based on horizontal and vertical lines to fit well into the space, designed with usability in mind. Offered in three colors – nickel, black, and silver – to match NEOREST colors and to complement materials and fixtures used in the bathroom space. While utilizing a metallic texture, we paid special attention to having the combination of different materials and finishes work beautifully together.

Matte Black Surface Finish (Faucets) *Overseas model

TOTO’s technology for the metal surface of faucets includes first shot-blasting the surface, followed by chrome plating, and finally forming a color layer finish. This allows for the creation of a matte-like black color that reflects minimal light. The delicate, silk-like luster, which cannot be produced with paint, offers an elegant, quality presence that blends into the space.

The surface is wear resistant and not easily scratched, leading to ease of cleaning and maintained beauty even in bathrooms that are heavily used.
