TOTO (Thailand) Co., Ltd. cooperated with the Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage to hold the lecture event “TOMOHIKO YAMANASHI LECTURE: BREAKING THE NORM” on November 23, 2022. The lecture was honored by Mr. Tomohiko Yamanashi, a talented Japanese architect who has won numerous awards. His lecture discussed his point of view and the insights behind each of his architectural works and projects. The lecture gained a lot of attention from the audience.

TOTO held the social activities with the passion of becoming a bridge to exchange the culture and ideas of architects and designers in accordance with its Global Environmental Vision, which values people’s lifestyles in all dimensions, including cleanliness and comfort, the environment, and relationships. Thus, we held the lecture event for that reason, including other beneficial activities in cooperation with the Association of Siamese Architects under the royal patronage. For example, sponsoring ASA Run events in 2018 – 2019, holding the factory tour activity, holding design competitions which are “TRANSIT CENTER DEVELOPMENT 2019”  and “THE BANGKOK TOILET DESIGN 2022” that allow architects and students who are the new generation have the opportunity to show their skills in designing public restrooms, holding Academic seminar on Universal Design for everyone, etc.  Additionally, we previously held the lecture event “Shigeru Ban Lecture 2019,” which attracted a lot of interest and earned positive feedback from people in the architecture and design fields. As a result, the architect lecture was held once again this year.
